In its performance, Odebrecht Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Portugal (AEP) has, among other challenges, the mission of establishing a unique quality standard, equal to the most demanding markets in the world. This without disrespecting the singularities of each country when reaching very different cultures.

In parallel to the projects, Odebrecht AEP has been implementing integration and development and training programs for people in local communities in the countries. Thus, it manages to bring together, in a unique spirit of service, about 16 thousand members, from 65 nationalities.
In 2011, he returned to work in the United Arab Emirates, winning the contract for the construction of the water pumping station within the Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program (STEP) , for the expansion of the Abu Dhabi sanitation network.
Odebrecht AEP started projects in Guinea-Conakry and is currently restoring the railway to transport iron ore to ArcellorMittal in Liberia.
Still in Africa, it won contracts for the construction of the Nacala International Airport and the Coal Terminal – Pier 8, in the Port of Beira, in Mozambique, in addition to the expansion of the infrastructure project for Vale’s coal mines, in Moatize.
Also noteworthy is the work carried out in Portugal that preserved and integrated Lisbon’s historic monuments to the solution. This is the Lisbon Internal Circular (Cril), a road project that required actions to support the Águas Livres and Francesas Aqueducts, classified as National Monuments of Portugal.
